After the uproar, Mahesh Sharma clarified his intention was only to guide Tourists not to wears skirts while visiting religious places. He claims to made the suggestion only out of concern and its not in the context of what women should wear or not. 'What's wrong if I ask Tourists to be careful while going out at nights?,' he questions.
