Sushil Narsian, a Mumbai resident, got the shock of his life on the Fool's Day. He was charged over Rs 149 crore by Ola for just a 300-metre ride.
On April 1st this year, Sushil Narsian booked a Ola Cab from his residence in Mulund West to Vakola Market. However, The Cab Driver failed to locate the address as his phone had an issue and the ride has been cancelled.
Much to his shock, Sushil Narsian was refrained from booking another cab citing his outstanding amount of Rs 1,49,10,51,648. Even the Rs 127 in the mobile in his mobile wallet has been deducted.
Initially, Sushil Narsian thought it might be an April Fools prank. Soon, He contacted Ola representatives through Social Media and came to know that its a technical glitch. At last, Ola refunded the money and corrected the error.
Netizens began making fun of the whole issue. Some questioned, 'Where was the drop location? Pluto or Neptune?'.
