Congress leader, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to Delhi All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after the leader developed fever and chest pain.
He was admitted to the AIIMS around 8.45 pm yesterday. It has been reported that Mr. Singh has been undergoing some cardiology related examinations, though there is no official confirmation on this.
Recently, Mr. Singh took part in a video conference held by party chief Sonia Gandhi in which the Chief Ministers of the Congress party ruled -states were also present who reportedly discussed the lockdown effects.
Following this, many leaders of various parties wished speedy recovery of Mr. Singh who also rendered his services as the Finance Minister and gained popularity for his vision for the Green Revolution in the 1960s.
