Unlock 3.0: MHA Announces New Guidelines And More Relaxations

With the Nationwide Unlock 2.0 coming to an end with the 31st of July, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced more guidelines for the unlock 3.0. More relaxations were granted in addition to the existing ones.

As per the new guidelines, which will come into effect from the 1st of August, night curfews across the nations come to an end.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Home Affairs permitted Yoga institutes and gymnasiums to resume the operations from the 5th of August. However, they have to follow the guidelines issued, like observing social distancing and wearing facemasks.

Given the prevailing situations, the Ministry opted to not allow educational institutions including schools and colleges to resume operations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said during this unlock period too Metro services, Theaters, swimming pools, bars, and entertainment parks which can attract a mass gathering will be remain shut.

The nationwide lockout was imposed in India on the 25th of March to contain the virus in the country and after a series of lockouts, India has now entered the third phase of unlock.
