38-Years-Old Boeing 737 Crash Kills Over 100

Boeing 737-200 Aircraft crashed minutes after the take off from Havana in Cuba. Crash happened at 12 miles south of Havana near villages of Santiago de las Vegas and Boyeros. About 105 passengers and 9 crew members were onboard the ill-fated plane.

Reportedly, The Aircraft was 38-Years-Old. A Mexican carrier has leased the aging plane to the state airline Cubana de Aviacion.

As per the Cuban Media, Over 100 people were feared dead. Only three people (all of them women) survived the deadly crash and they were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Five Children and an Infant were among those who breathed their last.

Boeing 737-200 Aircraft came into the service in US in the year 1968. Since then, It changed hands around 15 times and was even used by US Navy for 5 years.

Cuba President told a commission would be constituted to investigate the cause of mishap.
