MP Admits Congress Facing Financial Crisis

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor came in support of his party when it comes to the appeal seeking crowd-funding. He admits most of the Opposition Parties in the country including Congress is facing a bit of crisis.

The other day, Congress appealed people to 'Save Democracy' by making financial contributions to fight the tough battle against BJP. Tharoor accepts that BJP is getting most of the political funding because it's currently in power. He says most of the Congress Candidates in Karnataka used their own money for the recent Assembly Polls.

Shashi Tharoor sees a possibility of Karnataka Results repeating in 2019 General Elections if Congress fails to achieve sufficient crowd-funding.

As per Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), BJP declared an income of Rs 1,034.27 crore. That's an increase of Rs 463.41 crore from the previous submission. Whereas, Congress income declined by 14 percent. Samajwadi Party is leading among Regional Parties. It's been followed by DMK.
