The Andhra Pradesh state Government's initiative to involve people in building the new capital Amaravati by donating e-bricks has received good response. MyBrickMyAmaravati campaign was launched in a big way on Oct 15th by Nara chanbdrababu naidu. Each brick costs about 10 rupees and anyone can donate any number of bricks.
Till now the site has received 11 lakh visits but among them only 54,000 people came forward and donated the bricks.Even if there had been a 10 per cent conversion at least 1 lakh people should have donated the bricks but unfortunately it was not happened.
Till now nearly 36 lakhs bricks were collected and APCRDA donated the highest number of bricks (50,000+). People should come forward generously to support the cause.
