Nagam Ditches BJP, Joins Congress!

As per media reports, Nagam Janardhan Reddy quit BJP. He seems to have met Telangana PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy two days ago and joined Congress Party in the presence of Rahul Gandhi.

Nagam Janardhan Reddy is unhappy over the kind of prominence he has been receiving in BJP since few years. In the past, He claimed to facing pressure from followers and people of Nagar Kurnool to join Congress.

Whereas, Kishan Reddy opined Nagam was given good importance in BJP. He reminds BJP offering tickets to both Nagam and his Son in 2014 Polls.

Nagam was a student of Osmania Medical College and a qualified physician. He began his political journey with TDP and continued as No.2 in the party. He won as MLA in five elections and served as Minister in TDP Cabinet. After facing assault in Osmania College during Telangana Movement, Nagam floated his own Political Party but that didn't last for longer. He joined BJP in 2013, unsuccessfully contested 2014 polls and now shifted loyalties to Congress.
