Nara Lokesh To Contest From Mangalagiri

Update: 2019-03-13 09:20 GMT
TDP Leadership announced Nara Lokesh will be contesting from Mangalagiri in 2019 Elections. Lokesh's name would feature in the first list of TDP Candidates.

Initially, Constituencies in Anantapur, Chittoor and Krishna District were considered for Nara Lokesh. Speculation kept doing rounds since few days that Lokesh would be fielded either from Bheemili or Visakha North.

Putting all the speculations to rest, Chandrababu Naidu took the final decision upon holding a meeting with Guntur TDP Leaders. TDP Leadership is of the feeling that Mangalagiri is the most crucial constituency as it's in the AP Capital region.

The agenda of Chandrababu Naidu seems to be having control over AP Capital even if YCP forms the Government. In case if Lokesh gets elected as Mangalagiri MLA, TDP will be planning all of its political activities from this constituency itself.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is the Sitting MLA of Mangalagiri. It mayn't be a cakewalk for Nara Lokesh to win against this YCP Leader who fought against TDP in the past 5 years.
