OMG: Navy Officers Wife-Swapping!

Update: 2016-05-14 05:33 GMT
Supreme Court ordered for a probe into the allegations of wife-swapping in the navy made by naval officer's wife in Kerala.

Sujatha Kiran, an estranged wife of Naval Officer, created a sensation in 2013 with allegations of wife-swapping in the Indian navy. She alleges that a Group of Naval Officers had gang-raped her following the directions of her Husband after she caught him in a compromising position with the wife of a naval officer. The 26-Year-old was even harassed for being reluctant to accompany her husband for wife-swapping parties. She alleges there were instances of Naval Officers harassing their subordinates who refused wife-swapping. Neither Navy Chief nor Harbour Police in Kochi took action even after she complained.

The Apex Court, however, turned down the plea of Sujatha Kiran to order for a CBI Probe. Instead, It directed Kerala DGP to constitute the Special Investigation Team to conduct the probe and submit the report within 3 months. SC even refused to transfer the case from Kerala to Delhi High Court.
