In an unfortunate incident, an actress took the extreme step and ended her life after the NCB sleuths conducted raids at her house and reportedly made an attempt to extort money from her. The incident had created a big uproar. Condemning the incident, a Minister had come down on the agency massively.
Senior Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) leader and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik had once again made shocking comments on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and leveled shocking allegations against the agency.
NCP's Nawab Malik who is currently serving as the Minority Affair Minister alleged that the agency has a private army that is indulging in extorting money. The Minister made the comments while talking about the suicide incident of the actress.
Not stopping there, Nawab Malik said that the private army is taking care of the business of extorting money and the process is going on. He gave the examples of KP Gosavi and Mahesh Bhanushali as the private army of NCB.
Nawab Malik also lashed out at the NCB holding it responsible for the suicide of the actress. He said that the extortion business of the agency had resulted in the death of the actress. The issue should not be left and a detailed investigation should be done to look into the angle, he said.
The Maharashtra Cabinet Minister shared a video on his Twitter handle in which he said an actress had committed suicide in the jurisdiction of the Oshiwara Police station. As part of the investigation, it was found out that a few people are extorting money by projecting themselves as the NCB sleuths.
"An actress has committed #suicide within the limit of Oshiwara Police station. In the investigation, it has come to light that some people were extorting money by posing as NCB officers," Nawab Malik tweeted.
Talking about the suicide incident, a 28-year-old actress, who is believed to be acting in Bhojpuri films had ended her life after two people allegedly reached her house and directed her to pay an amount as prescribed by them. Unable to gather the big amount, the actress is said to have taken the extreme step.
