New CBI director asks officers to follow strict dress code, no casual wear!

Days after being appointed as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) boss, Subodh Kumar Jaiswal issued a new order for the dress code for the officers and staff members.

The CBI director said, only formal dress will be allowed. Beard look and jeans and T-shirt will not be permitted and the order made it clear that the new orders on the dress code cannot be violated.

The Male officers and staff members were asked to come in shirts, formal trousers, and formal shoes with a clean shave. The female officers and staffers were advised to wear sarees, suits, formal shirts, and trousers

"No jeans, T-shirts, sports shoes, chappals, and casual attire are allowed in the office," the CBI director said in the new orders

Subodh Kumar Jaiswal was appointed as the 33rd CBI director earlier last week. He earlier held the position of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) director-general. He will be serving as CBI director for the coming two years.
