Update: 2022-08-10 07:53 GMT
Social media is the current trend and the medium is taking over the other mediums. Not just spreading the news, social media is also serving as a key platform for formal and informal conversations. WhatsApp is the leading social media platform and no platforms come near WhatsApp.

To offer something new to the users, WhatsApp is making itself better by undergoing massive updates at regular intervals. The platform has added many features so far. Now the platform is gearing up to add some more features and the features would help many users and they are eagerly waiting for the updates to come into effect.

One feature that everyone wanted to get implemented is blocking others from taking screenshots of ‘View Once’ messages. If anyone tries to take screenshots of the messages, users who sent the message will get a notification. This will help many users to chat without any issues and troubles.

Another big update is that members of the groups can exit the groups without any noise. The current system is that, if anyone tries to exit the groups then the members will get notified. This will get changed if the new update comes into existence. The notification will not pop up after the new update.

One more update that is in the testing stage is that the users can decide who can see their online status. With this, the users can pick their contacts who get to know if they are online or not. If the update gets effective then the users can avoid unnecessary issues with the contacts.

Mark Zuckerberg said that WhatsApp is a popular platform and WhatsApp is busy making ways to secure the conversations of the users. Protecting the messenger is the key concern said the platform.

"New privacy features coming to WhatsApp: exit group chats without notifying everyone, control who can see when you're online, and prevent screenshots on view once messages. We'll keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversations," Mark Zuckerberg said about the new updates.

Though WhatsApp is busy making intense efforts to bring more updates to make the conversations better and better, there is no update on when the changes in WhatsApp would come into effect
