Nizams Kin upset for not inviting Falaknuma Dinner

The kin of the Nizam who was the ruler of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad expressed disappointment over not being invited for the dinner hosted by PM Narendra Modi for Ivanka Trump at the Falaknuma Palace.

Nawab Najaf Ali Khan who is the grandson of 7th Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan claimed to be upset over not receiving invitation for GES event held at Falaknuma Palace which represents his family culture and heritage. 'I, being the grandson of the erstwhile Royal Family, deserve an invite as the Palace is an important landmark both in our family's history and also in the history of Hyderabad,' read the statement.

Mr.Khan says he had been in touch with NITI Aayog Members who are handling Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017  since the past 10 days but there was no positive response from them.

Falaknuma used to be the official residence of sixth Nizam, Mir Mahboob Ali Khan until he passed away in 1911. Taj Group acquired the palace and converted it into a star hotel.
