No Votes Only Leaders In This Party

Update: 2020-07-24 08:13 GMT
It may be a party without much stake in AP. It may not have won even a single seat in the AP Assembly and may have lost security deposits in most of the places where it contested. While its membership is growing across the country, it's  dwindling in AP. But all these have not prevented the party from bickering.

The BJP in Andhra Pradesh is a divided house. The party is cleaved into so many groups that one has lost count. A strong section within the party wants to remove Kanna Lakshminarayana as the party president. It wants him out, but does not know how. Also, a strong section led by an MLC is trying to get him replaced. Another MLC, who has won with the support of the TDP, wants to get the post for himself.

Meanwhile those leaders who have joined the BJP from the TDP are working to protect the interests of their former party more than their present party. They are still singing to the tunes of the leader of their former party. Thus, with three or four groups actively bickering, the party is going nowhere  in Andhra Pradesh.
