Goa CM Urges Tourists To Not Come To Goa

With Goa lifting the restrictions for the visitors,  tourists rushed to the travel destination and as a result, fresh cases were reported in Goa. Fearing that the virus might spread further Goa Chief Minister urged the tourists to not visit Goa.

Keeping the situation in mind, the Chief Minister said that non Goa residents will be sent to quarantine centers and no relaxations will be entertained in this regard.  As a safety measure, the asked not to stop the train which is going to Thiruvantapuram from Delhi.

Feras and concerns started with eight positive cases reported in the past 24 hours in Goa which managed to report zero positive cases, for one and a half months. He took a decision to not allow tourists from other states as a result.

Pramod Sawant said that they will not provide accommodation for the tourists and those who want to visit Goa should take care of their accommodation and the authorities will not look into this.
