NSA Ajit Doval Urges Citizens To Be Cautious while Making Digital Payments
Following the Coronavirus outbreak in India, the usage of digital payment platforms increased rapidly, which simultaneously resulted in the rise of financial frauds.
Amid this, National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval appealed to the citizens of the country to be more cautious while making online transactions.
Talking about the measures to safeguard the online transactions, the Security Adviser, said that the Centre is making efforts to launch the National cybersecurity Strategy - 2020
He made these comments while addressing the COCONXIII-2020, virtually. He delivered a speech on the Cybersecurity during his address.
He went to say that the cyber crime rate increased by 500 percent as most of the users are not aware of how the fraudsters can exploit them.
The conference on data privacy and hacking was conducted as a collaborative event by the Kerala Police Department and the Society for the Policing of Cyberspace and Information Security Research Association.
