Once Powerful, These Leaders Wait For KCR's Appointment

Update: 2020-07-22 03:55 GMT
For five years, they were all powerful. One ruled the roost in Khammam. The other was the most powerful leader in Mahabubnagar and the other was a key leader in North Telangana and officiated as the speaker of the assembly.  All the three are all but consigned to the dustbin of history with possibly no chances of revival.

These are former speaker Madhusudhan Reddy, Tummala Nageshwara Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao. But, all these have lost their elections in 2018 and those who defeated them have subsequently joined the TRS. Now, these new entrants have literally taken over the party. They have weaned over the cadre and are in the process of buying the loyalists of these leaders. The once loyalists too are slipping away gradually. With no chances of getting an audience with KCR, all the three leaders are now confined to their homes.

These leaders are now said to be using back channels to gain the confidence of KCR again. They are said to be appealing for some nominated post so that they can stay afloat politically. They know that their cadres will stay with them only if they have some position of power. But, will KCR smile on them?
