Online Gambling scam worth Rs 1,100 crore busted in Hyd

Hyderabad Police successfully busted an online gambling racket that involved hundreds of crores. It is believed that the betting racket was run by companies based out of China reportedly.

According to some media reports, the betting racket is running its operations through Telegram App and thousands of users formed groups in the App, and gambling is done on some websites too.

It has been reported that gambling racket largely aims at cheating users and around 90 percent of people who take part in bettings and online games lose their money most of the time.

The racket was busted by Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and his team. Reportedly, more than Rs 1,000 crores were involved in the betting and online gaming racket.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar warned the public to not get indulged in such scams and lose their money.
