Ever since the YCP came to power we are only hearing about the welfare schemes and how the government is giving schemes. Very rarely do we hear news about development and new constructions and establishments coming in Andhra Pradesh. Forget about other constructions, the condition of bus stands is not that great in many places.
During the recent rainy season, there were reports that the bus stand in Gudivada represented by former Cabinet Minister Kodali Nani caused many problems for people as it was not in a good shape. A section of media gave good coverage to the news and targeted the ruling party.
Another bus stand that has been targeted by many is the Pulivendula Bus terminal. It's been more than two years since Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that a new terminal will be constructed. Pulivendula is always represented by the YSR family.
Despite all of this, the bus terminal was not set up, giving a big chance for the opposition to target the ruling party and Chief Minister. The opposition parties always ask what a party can do which cannot build even a bus terminal.
Now the opposition parties cannot target YSRCP on this as the Pulivendula terminal is ready and Jagan will inaugurate the terminal during his Kadapa district tour. Jagan killed the Opposition parties' opportunity to target him on the Pulivendula bus terminal.
The revamped terminal named after his father and former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has all the facilities so that the commuters will not have to face any issues. The bus terminal is spread across a few acres and can accommodate many buses at a time.
We can understand the facilities the Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy bus terminal would have given the importance the constituency has with the family. The members of the family have been representing the constituency for many decades and we can expect some of the best facilities.
The Pulivendula constituency was earlier represented by YSR. When he was in power and opposition the former Chief Minister represented Pulivendula. The serving Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently representing the Pulivendula Assembly constituency.
