Pak Demands Nobel Prize For Imran Khan

Update: 2019-03-03 12:13 GMT
Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry submitted a resolution in his country's Parliament on Saturday seeking Nobel Peace Prize to Prime Minister Imran Khan for efforts put in by him to de-escalate tense atmosphere after air strikes carried out by Indian Air Force.

As per the resolution, Imran Khan de-escalated the dangerous situation between Pakistan and Indian with his decision to release IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. The responsibility taken by the Pakistan Prime Minister to calm down the nerves on either sides deserves a honour equivalent to Nobel Peace Prize.

Resolution seeking Nobel Peace Prize for Imran Khan will be taken up on Monday when the proceedings of the Parliament resume. This is likely to be passed if the Former Cricketer believes he deserves such a honour as his government has got majority. Whether or not, Opposition Parties extend support to such a glorifying act looks doubtful.
