Nandamuri Balakrishna is a happy man with his latest film Gautami Putra Satakarni turning out to be a big hit. It is known that the movie is 100th film in the long career of Balayya so his fans were also delighted. As the movie is a historical one, AP and Telangana governments waived off Entertaiment tax on GPSK.
When AP minister for Information & Public Relations Palle Raghunatha Reddy was quizzed by the media persons about the tax exemption given to Gautami Putra Satakarni, he said the government took this decision considering the fact that Satakarni is a great Telugu warrior and his connection to AP capital Amaravati. He said the government has passed the GO officially.
He was asked When the GO is passed.. 'does any cabinet minister raised objections ?' Palle Raghunatha Reddy replied on a funny note that "Does anyone dare to oppose Balayya?" Responding to another question.. why tax exemption was not given to Rudhramadevi ? He said Rudhramadevi was connected to Telangana more.
