PAN won't go invalid even if not linked to Aadhar

As Centre directed Citizens to link Aadhar number with Permanent Account Number (PAN) by June 30th, There is mad rush all over the country in the past few days. This situation led to the crash of Income Tax website.

People thought their PAN becomes invalid if it's wasn't linked to Aadhar. Actually, PAN willn't become invalid automatically if you don't link it with Aadhar before June 30th. From July 1st, Linking Aadhar with PAN becomes mandatory. Centre is yet to announce the date from when PAN goes invalid if unlinked to Aadhar.

Even after June 30th, People can link PAN with Aadhar. As linking became mandatory from July 1st, Those who apply for new PAN must provide Aadhar Number in the application.

As per Supreme Court order, People who doesn't have Aadhar needn't worry about their PAN becoming invalid at least for now.
