Things are not going well with Air India Airlines as it is hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The airline is losing its credibility with unwanted controversies. Earlier a passenger urinated on a fellow female passenger. Recently, more than 300 passengers were stranded in an airport when pilots refused to take off.
It was a big shock that pilots reportedly said their working hours were over and they cannot take off. With this, passengers were forced to be stranded in the airport for a few hours. After a lot of waiting, a carrier was arranged to send the passengers to their destinations.
In another disgusting incident, an Air India passenger allegedly defecated and urinated on the floor of the flight. The fellow passengers were shocked by this. A case has been filed in this regard and the accused is arrested. The flight is identified as AIC 866 which was traveling to the national capital Delhi from the financial capital Mumbai.
As per the media reports, the accused is identified as Ram Singh. When the flight was mid-air he defecated, urinated, and spat on the floor. The incident is said to have happened on June 24. The cabin crew noticed this and informed the pilot-in-command.
The airport authorities were informed and the accused was arrested after the flight landed. A case has been filed against him under a few sections. The incident became a big sensation and grabbed everyone's attention. The other passengers were shocked and agitated seeing what the accused had done.
Air India responded to this and said that what happened is unfortunate and the airline will not support and tolerate unruly and unacceptable behaviour. Having said that, the airline observed the accused had been handed over to security after the flight landed at the airport.
Air India landing in controversies at regular controversies raises a big question of when the controversies will stop. Passengers doing such things on the flight causing severe discomfort to fellow passengers is not acceptable and sends a wrong message to people that they have to go through this if they board the flights of the airline.
