Has Pawan Kalyan Learnt Lessons From Chiru's Failure

At long last, Pawan Kalyan has opened up on the failures of the Praja Rajyam Party, which his elder brother Chiranjeevi formed. He said the slogan of social justice did not help the party in 2009. When the weaver community in Amalapuram requested him to allot three seats in East Godavari district, he said such moves would only help the leaders, but not the common people of the community. "We too embraced the concept of social justice in 2009. But, we could not achieve our objectives. None of those elected stayed with us. They defected. So, giving two or three seats to a community will not help. The leaders get benefited, not the people of the case. We will stand by the community and do justice to them," he told the weaver community.

It appears Pawan has learnt a hard lesson from the failure of his brother's Praja Rajyam Party. Chiru tried to satisfy every community and ended up annoying every community. Many a time, it gave assurances to a particular caste and later found a better candidate from some other caste group. He couldn't replace the announced candidate. So, he lost the 2009 elections. Hence, Pawan is taking every care to ensure that the PRP mistake is not repeated this time. He is also not giving any assurance these days to any caste group.
