Delhi-based Air India is the largest international carrier in India. However, the airline has been hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons of late. At regular intervals, the airline has been in the news for unwanted reasons. Earlier this year, a man urinated on a fellow female passenger and got banned from flying Air India for a few months.
Yet again, Air India is in the news for the wrong reason as passengers were forced to stay in the airport for a few hours. Around 350 passengers were stranded at the airport. After hours of waiting, the flight carrying the passengers left the airport. Passengers are not happy with this and questioned about how they can be treated like this.
Going into details, Air India AI-112 flight which was supposed to reach the national capital was diverted to Jaipur due to bad weather. The flight was coming from London. There are around 350 passengers on the flight.
When the weather became normal, the airport authorities gave clearance to the flight to resume its journey. However, the pilots gave a big shock saying that they cannot take off as their working hours are over.
With this, the passengers are forced to stay for long hours inside the airport. While a few of them left the airport and went by road to their destinations, the rest of them waited there with no option left. After long hours, arrangements were made for them reportedly.
Passengers took to social media to share the horrific experience and requested Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia to assist them. They said that they have spoken to Jaipur MP Col Rajyavardhan Rathore already but nothing has happened.
