PM Modi's Holds Video-Conference With CMs on Coronavirus

In the wake of the second phase of the lockdown coming to an end, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of various states to discuss whether to lift the lockdown or extend it.

The Video-conference gained a lot of significance as the count of positive cases of novel coronavirus surpassed the 27,000-mark with 1,396 cases reported in the past 24 hours.

It has been widely reported that the lockdown measures will be eased making the lockdown rules very strict so that the people will not face any issues for the essential goods. Many states are likely to extend the existing lockdown.

Delhi and Maharashtra are turned out to be the worst-hit states due to the dreaded COVID-19 virus. To date, the count of the positive cases in Maharashtra surpassed the 8,000 mark and the state also tops the list in COVID-19 fatalities.

We will get more information on this, once the official information on the lockdown comes out. Let's wait and see what happens.
