A couple made all the arrangements for their marriage and were on the wedding dias. The groom was all set to tie the wedding knot to the bride. But things took an unexpected turn with the Police making a sudden entry. They stopped the wedding and took the bride with them in front of the groom. This happened in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram.

Going into details, Akhil and Alfia from Kayamkulam in Kerala were in love and wanted to tie the knot. They made plans for the wedding at the Sri Madan Tampuran temple. However, Alfia's parents filed a police complaint that their daughter is missing.

Police filed a case in this regard and started a probe. They got to know that the couple is all set to get married in the temple. They showed up at the location and dragged away the bride. Despite the girl saying that she is there with her interest, Police did not listen to her and took her into a vehicle. When Akhil tried to talk to Alfia, he was stopped by the cops. The visuals are now doing rounds on social media and Kerala Police is facing criticism for this.

Later, she was produced in court. The girl gave a statement that there is no force from anyone on her and she went there on her own. With this, the Court allowed the girl to go with Akhil. However, Police said that they got a missing complaint about Alfia, and a probe was started as a complaint was filed.

Alfia spoke to the media on the issue and said that her parents are against her living with Akhil and they tried to forcefully take her away hence a missing complaint was filed with the Police Station. So the cops brought me and forcefully produced me before the court, she said.

On the other hand, Akhil made some serious allegations. He said that Police behaved harshly with them and forcefully took Alfia away and they were pushed away.

The higher officials in the Police department responded to this and said that a probe is underway into the allegations. The marriage which was supposed to happen today was postponed to Tuesday, which is tomorrow.
