Now a new party was announced in the state which bats for protecting the Telugu language and culture. Saying that the culture was affected due to the bifurcation and there is a need to protect it, the new party was announced. The party also has a name which is Jai Telugu party
Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao, who is one of the popular lyricists in the Telugu film industry surprised everyone with his sudden entry into politics. He spoke to the media in the temple town of Vijayawada and announced that he will start a new party.
The lyricist said that there is a need to create awareness of protecting language and culture and this is the motto behind announcing the party. After announcing the party name as Jai Telugu Party, Jonnavithula said that the complete details about the party would be announced by the 15th of August.
In his speech, Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao highlighted the importance of protecting the language and culture and how the state bifurcation left a big impact on it. The lyricist said that the party flag will have five colours and pictures of five famous people.
Jonnavithula said that the colours on the flag are the symbol of Water, Agriculture, Labor Force, Glory, and Purity. We have to wait and see what the new party can do in state politics.
Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao went on to say that his party flag will have pictures of famous personalities who worked hard for the Telugu language. The party flag will have pictures of Scholar Gidugu Rammurthy Pantulu, social reformer Kandukuri Veeresalingam Panthulu, Potti Sriramulu who made the ultimate sacrifice for the Andhra Pradesh state, former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, former Chief Minister NTR.
