Prashant Kishor To Be Make Rajya Sabha MP?

Update: 2020-03-02 05:18 GMT
Despite his frequent party hopping and his juggling of election management career and politics at the same time, Prashant Kishor is much sought after in the non-BJP circles. After the stupendous victory of the AAP in Delhi assembly elections, PK as a strategist is much in demand. But, the Trinamool Congress Party, which is now seeking his help in election strategising, has gone one step ahead and has reportedly decided to nominate him to the Rajya Sabha from West Bengal quota.

With the Rajya Sabha biennial elections for 55 seats from 17 states round the corner, four TMC MPs are completing their term and the party is likely to win all these seats. In one of the seats, Prashant Kishor is all set to be nominated.  Prashant has recently fallen out with the JDU in Bihar. He had criticised the BJP-JDU alliance and openly slammed several policies of the BJP.   Prashant Kishore is already advising Mamta Banerjee on political strategies. Mamta feels that sending him to the Rajya Sabha would help the party in many ways. He would be an effective communicator against the BJP in Rajya Sabha, she feels.

Interestingly, neither Mamta nor Prashant Kishore has made any public statement about this development. The elections to the Rajya Sabha would be held on March 26.
