It is already known the tensions are prevailing in the Middle East due to the ongoing war situation as Iran has started to bomb several areas across the UAE. In this context, several crucial air travel pockets of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, have come under serious pressure due to the recent incidents.

But even in this hour of crisis, it is being established that the UAE administration is doing something extraordinary for the victims who are stuck in their region.Recent developments in the United Arab Emirates say that the authorities are stepping in to support passengers stranded due to major disruptions in air travel caused by escalating regional tensions and temporary airspace closures.

With flights cancelled or delayed and thousands of international travellers unable to depart, the UAE government has taken steps to ease their difficulties.According to official statements, the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has activated emergency aviation plans that include covering the costs of accommodation, meals and refreshments for affected passengers.

Temporary lodging arrangements have been organised in transit hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, ensuring those stuck have a place to stay and essential services while they wait for flights to resume.

Around 20,200 passengers have been assisted so far with hotel stays, meals and help with rebooking. Authorities are also working with national carriers and airports to reroute flights, speed up schedule adjustments and manage passenger movement smoothly despite the ongoing situation.

Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism has directed hotels to extend stays for guests who cannot travel, with extended accommodation costs to be covered by the department. These measures are part of a broader effort to support travellers impacted by the current disruptions in the region’s skies.
