Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra to enter Telangana on October 23

Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra is all set to begin in Telangana from October 23. The yatra would go on for 16 days, including four days of rest. It would enter Telangana at Makthal on October 24 and would have a three-day break for Diwali. There would be a normal break on November 7. On November 7, he will enter Maharashtra via Madnoor in Kamareddy district.

Thus he would travel for 14 days and would cover 375 kilometers.  The first break would be at Makthal.  Rahul Gandhi would cover 7 Lok Sabha constituencies and 17 assembly constituencies as part of the yatra. The whole programme would be held under the auspices of the party's programme implementation committee chief Yeleti Maheshwar Reddy.

The Telangana Congress has constituted as many as 13 sub-committees for the successful conduct of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. These committees are working night and day to ensure that the yatra is a huge success. A massive mobilization is being planned across the length of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The yatra will cover Makthal, Devarakadra, Mahabubnagar, Jadcherla, Shadnagar, Shamshabad, Aramghar, Charminar, Moazzam Jahi market, Nampally, Gandhi Bhavan,  Vijayanagar colony, Punjagutta, Ameerpet, Kukatalli, Miyapur , Patancheru, Muttangi, Sangareddy, Jogipet, Pedda Shankarampet and finally Madnoor.
