The Wedding Ceremony of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Maino in the year 1968 is such a beautiful occasion no body would wish to miss. The black-and-white footage sans audio shows Rajiv Gandhi, a 23-Year-Old, and Sonia Maino who was 21 then exchanging garlands and signing marriage documents in the presence of their parents. Then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was seen actively participating and making sure everything was perfect.
Many Topbrass Politicos and Relatives attended the ceremony which took place on February 25th at 1 Safdarjung Road for congratulating the newlywed. Interestingly, Sonia wore a beautiful saree here and was spotted wishing the guests with a 'Namaskar'.
