Two days back, Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Kottu Satyanarayana said that Rajashyamala yagnam would be performed for the welfare of the people. But now it has become a political matter. Bonda Uma is saying that the yagnam is for Jagan.
He is asking why the expenses are bared by the endowment funds for Jagan when he wants to come to power. Bonda Uma is also alleging that around two and a half crores were diverted from the TTD. The TDP leader is also saying that the yagnam will be performed with funds from other famous temples.
The TDP leader went on to say that Jagan is not eligible to perform the yagnam and people who have faith in the Hindu religion should only perform it. Bonda Uma is saying that the Endowments department cannot perform the yagnam in AP.
Usually, the temples perform Yagnas, homas, and pooja. No one has the right to say that the temples cannot perform them. Moreover may raise doubt about whether TDP leaders are worrying if Jagan will become the CM for the second time if the yagnam is performed. Devotion is different and public mandate is different.
