Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is not new to controversies. At regular intervals, Ram Gopal Varma finds himself in a controversy. Now the path-breaking director is getting fame due to the controversies more than the success of the films he makes. These days, things are not going in the director's way.
The director suffered a big shock after a civil court issued a stay on the release of his recent film Ladki as a producer approached the court alleging that Ram Gopal Varma cheated him by taking money and he is not returning the money he took from him.
In the petition, the petitioner Sekhar Raju sought directives from the court to stay the running of the film in the theatres along with the OTT sale till Ram Gopal Varma settles the money issues he has with him.
This is not the first time a producer alleged that he became the victim of the director. Earlier, Natti Kumar alleged that the director cheated him and even filed a case against him and sought a ban on RGV's film.
After going through a lot of twists and turns, the row ended up with Natti Kumar and Ram Gopal Varma forgetting all the issues and calling each other friends. In the whole episode, the duo made others fool by creating a situation where they have been having issues with each other for quite some time. After the issue was sorted, Ram Gopal Varma landed in another big issue. No one knows where the issue goes and how it ends.
Looking at the previous controversy involving Natti Kumar, it will not be any surprise if we see the current row goes in the same way. Ram Gopal Varma has the tendency of getting involved in controversies and walking out of the controversies without any issues.
As a similarity in both cases, both the producers knocked on the doors of the court seeking a ban of films helmed by Ram Gopal Varma. In the previous instance, Natti Kumar sought a ban on Dangerous film, which is dubbed as the first lesbian drama in the country. In the recent issue, a ban was sought on Ladki film.
