There was much curiosity about the Warangal by-election not only among the people of Telangana, but also Andhra Pradesh and many other parts of the nation. As the date is nearing all parties started allegations on their opponents.
Ruling TRS Party on Saturday alleged that the candidates of all opposition parties, who are in the fray for Warangal by-elections, are non-locals. The TRS decided to make non-local candidates as an issue during the election campaign and using the locality card to lure the voters.
TRS leaders termed that TDP BJP candidate Devaiah is a non local and said he was a NRI, who always shuttles between USA and India. Now the ruling party gets shocking reply from TDP leader Revanth reddy. TDP leader Revanth Reddy targeted KTR on the same nativity issue and says KTR is not even eligible for peon or attender post in the state as he is a 'non-local'.
Revanth reminded that KTR did his school education in Guntur, higher education in Pune and job in America. "As per 610 GO, KCR son and minister KTR is not eligible even to apply for peon or attender post. But he is now appointed as minister in state cabinet. How TRS will point fingers at others when they are not following the rules" Revanth questioned
