RK to be shifted out of Mangalagiri?

Update: 2022-08-25 06:54 GMT
The YSRCP top leadership is in a seat-juggling mode. It has begun the exercise of identifying the seats where the candidates need to be changed in view of the local conditions. It is also trying to find out alternative seats for key leaders of the party.  This shuffling could happen in several seats in both Krishna and Guntur districts that are close to Amaravati.

Already it has appointed former minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad as the incharge for Thatikonda assembly constituency. This is being seen as a clear indication that sitting MLA Sridevi may not be given the party ticket in 2024. Dokka is already an MLC and by making him the incharge, the party has said it had enough of Sridevi's antics.

It is now learnt that Minister Ambati Rambabu may be asked to shift from Sattenapalli in Guntur district to Avanigadda in Krishna district. Though unhappy, Ambati may have to fall in line and move to Avanigadda, Similarly, YS Jagan loyalist Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is likely to asked to move to Sattenapalli in his place.  Meanwhile, new candidate, preferably from the BC community, would be given ticket in the Mangalagiri constituency.

Meanwhile, several BC candidates are vying for the Mangalagiri seat. MLC Hanumantha Rao, Chillapalli Mohan Rao and Kandru Kamala are in the race. Ganji Chiranjeevi, who has recently left the TDP and joined the YSRCP is said to be trying for the party ticket to contest from Mangalagiri.Who gets the party ticket depends on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision.
