RSS's Controversial Figure Appears on Congress Flex Yet Again!

Update: 2022-10-07 07:44 GMT
There are many controversial figures in the history of India and Veer Savarkar is among them. While the Bharatiya Janata Party always dubs him as a great freedom fighter, the Congress and the left paints him as a coward who wrote mercy petitions to the Britishers when he was in the Andaman prison.

At regular intervals, we see posters and flexes of Savarkar in BJP-ruled states calling him a great personality. In an unexpected development, the controversial figure appeared in the flexe that was erected on the eve of the Bharat Jodo Yatra held by former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

It is known that Rahul Gandhi is busy with the Bharat Jodo Yatra which is going on in Karnataka. On the eve of the Dasara festival, the yatra was stopped and resumed recently. To congratulate the Congress MP on the occasion, a flexe was set up in the name of a Congress MLA.

Besides Rahul Gandhi and a few Congress leaders from Karnataka, the flex also has a picture of Veer Savarkar. This flex raised many eyeballs and became a reason for an intense political fight between the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and the opposition Congress. The Congress is telling that the BJP might have done this on purpose.

This is not the first time Savarkar's picture appeared on the Congress party's flex. Every time the flex is spotted it creates a tense situation between Congress and BJP. Yet again this happened after the flex appeared.

The version of the grand old Congress is that the saffron party is arranging the flex purposefully to paint Veer Savarkar's ideology on the other parties too. The party wonders why controversial figure appears on the flex whenever they plan any political event.

However, the Bharatiya Janata Party supporters are saying that they have nothing to do with the flexes and they are asking how they can add pictures to the flex arranged by the MLA from the Congress party.

With Savarkar's picture appearing on the flex that was set up on the eve of Rahul Gandhi's much-talked-about Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress party is seeing this as a big conspiracy.
