No Conspiracy behind Jaya's Death: Prathap C Reddy

Apollo Hospitals Chairman Prathap C Reddy condemned rumours surrounding the death of former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa. He also clarified that there is no truth in the speculations of Jaya's legs being removed prior to the cardiac arrest due to diabetic related complications.

Prathap C Reddy: 'Treatment offered to Jayalalithaa is an open book. We provided World-class Medical Care during the 75-days period. We wish we could have saved her and regret failing to do so. Our Doctors have done the best they can. Apollo is willing to handover the documents related to Jaya's treatment to any investigative agency'.

On September 22nd last year, Jayalalithaa was admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospitals. She suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away on December 5th. Ever since then, Speculations were abuzz that there was a conspiracy behind Amma's death.
