The Road Safety World Series T20 (RSWS) is a big platform for cricket fans across the globe. The fans are getting an opportunity to once again see their favorite players on the ground even after their retirement. A meaty update on the next season is now doing rounds.
It is said that the 2022-edition of Road Safety World Series T20 will be hosted by India and United Arab Emirates (UAE). The initial matches would be played in India and then the rest of the marches would be played in UAE. The series will kick start on the 5th of February and will come to an end on the 19th of March.
As per the media reports, MSPL & ANZA Investment Group, the organisers of the series have reportedly got a NOC from the officials of the crickets board in UAE to go for the series and the arrangements to host the popular series would commence soon.
The inaugural edition was a super hit with the fans getting an opportunity to see legendary players together. The upcoming season is expected to be huge as more than 150 former International players across the globe would take part in the series. This is going to be an eye feast for the fans.
Looking at the reason behind starting the series, Ravi Gaikwad was the one who got the idea to start a series that creates awareness to people on road safety. To highlight the noble cause, the series was named to mention its cause. That is the reason why it was named Road Safety World Series T20.
The series is not less than any international series. Cricket fans enjoy the matches by coming to stadiums and cricket games. The previous season saw a few players including Sachin Tendulkar and others coming in contact with the Coronavirus. As a safety measure, the series was shifted.
Despite this, India Legends led by God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar won the inaugural series. In the nail-biting match, the Indian team emerged victoriously. Indian cricket fans are now hoping to see players like Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvaraj Singh back on the field in the upcoming series.
