This would be supported by $ 250 million in the coming five years by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

He said that under this programme, capacity building would be done on a large scale.  He said that this would be integrated into the Samagra Siksha Abhiyan.  An IAS officer and a joint director-level officer would supervise the scheme, he said.  He further added that action plan would be prepared for improving the basic amenities in the schools across the state.

He said that this scheme would improve the educational quality vastly in the state. Senior officials, including Principal secretary (school  education), director of school education, Samagra Sikha Abhiyan director would play a key role in the implementation of the scheme, he said.
