Senior Bowler Makes Indian Death Bowling Strong!

Update: 2022-10-17 12:31 GMT
It's been a long time since India lifted the world cup. After Mahendra Singh Dhoni left the captaincy, the Indian team could not do any wonders in the big tournaments. Fans pinned high hopes on the ongoing T20 world cup. Ahead of the tournament, Jasprit Bumrah sustained an injury and lost his spot in the team.

In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian bowling attack is looking weak. No worries now, senior bowler Mohammed Shami cleared all the doubts with his fiery spell against Australia in the death overs in the practice match.

In the practice match, India needed to defend 10 runs. It is not an easy task when playing against the Australian team. But Shami gave just four runs and claimed four wickets. Death bowling has been worrying the Indian team and it looks like we got the perfect bowler.

Shami was also confined to Tests and ODIs due to various reasons. In the ODI World Cup, he claimed a hat trick. He was given few chances in the shorter format of the game. He was included in the team in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.

In the crucial time, Rohit Sharma gave him the ball and he delivered what his captain wanted. By giving just four runs, he took four wickets. This will surely boost his confidence

Shami did not bowl in the innings and was asked to bowl the last and crucial over. He kept his nerves and picked up four wickets. The stunning catch taken by Virat Kohli needs a special mention here. His two delivery hit the bull's eye. He even made a runout. It looks like we got a good replacement.
