Know About Seven Indian Ladies In BBC 100 Women 2015

The BBC's 100 Women list  is back and the channel has chosen its list of inspirational women for 2015. Seven Indian women got placed in the prestigious list. Singer Asha Bhosle and hyderabadi tennis sensation Sania Mirza were among the list. Apart from the above two five others Kamini Kaushal, Rimppi Kumari, Smriti Nagpal, Mumtaz Shaikh and Kanika Tekriwal earn the honour.

Kamini Kaushal is a former actor and Rimppi is a farmer who took over a 32-acre farm in Rajasthan after her  father died. Sania and Asha's story is not hidden to anyone. Smriti was inspired by her work as a sign language interpreter in India. Mumtaz Shaikh earned recognition with the Right to Pee campaign and Mumtaz’s fight to get free facilities for women and she ensured 96 free toilets for women in Mumbai

Kanika was a cancer survivor and she established India's first and only marketplace for private jet and helicopter charters. Sania will be interviewed by BBC World News presenter Yogita Limaye. The list  also features 30 entrepreneurs under the age of 30 and inspiring women over the age of 80.Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank and Sudanese supermodel Alek Wek are both included on the list.
