The Nationwide lock down which has resulted in normal public unable to come on to the roads has also left a deadly impact on the biggest red light area in national capital Delhi leaving more than 200 sex workers with no income.
Following the lock down, many people have opted to go to their native places as people are not allowed to hit the roads leaving the sex workers with no work and income as they get income daily.
In an interview given to a leading national daily, the sex workers have said their problems and difficulties faced by them as no one is visiting there as lock down is imposed in India fearing the outbreak of the virus.
A woman who has kids is working as a sex worker in Delhi red light area and she said that she came to this field with no other work left to feed her kids and added that they were been forced to stay without any income due to the lock down.
Many such women have been finding it difficult to feed their kids with a lack of work and income. They were forced to feed the kids only with milk. As they have no one to look after them and help them they are been under difficult times.
