After causing trouble to the users in using their accounts, the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram became accessible at midnight on Monday. Compared to the two platforms, the microblogging site Twitter had managed to come out of the outage.
As Twitter made accessible to the users while the two other platforms didn't, the Twitter users had brought their creativity by starting a meme fest. Users in various countries took a dig at the platforms over the outage.
Facebook and WhatsApp took to Twitter to say that there are few issues for the users and assured the users that the services will be restored and the work for the same had started already.
"We're aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We're working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience," Facebook said in a tweet after the platform went down.
