If Manmohan Singh can, why not Nara Lokesh!

Update: 2017-04-17 07:49 GMT
TDP Leaders have chosen different ways to counter the criticism over induction of Nara Lokesh into AP Cabinet. Here is what the newly-appointed Agriculture Minister has to say about it...

Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy: 'When Manmohan Singh, a Rajya Sabha MP, can became Prime Minister, why shouldn't Nara Lokesh be elevated as Minister from MLC?'.

Manmohan Singh isn't a seasoned politician. He was brought into active politics by none other than PV Narasimha Rao in the 90s. After serving as a Finance Minister in PV's regime, He was elected to the Upper House. Following the controversy over Sonia Gandhi, a foreigner, becoming Indian PM, Manmohan Singh was appointed in her place and he served for 10 years at a stretch.

Somireddy need to explain what qualities does Lokesh have to become a Minister and handle 2-3 crucial portfolios within a short time after his political entry. Does the rule of 'No Vacancy' for First Timers isn't applicable for Chinnababu?
