TDP Government launched agitation against Centre citing the raw deal for Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget 2018. Ruling Party MPs disrupted the Parliament Proceedings by entering the well with placards and raised slogans demanding justice. These developments intensified the war of words between TDP and BJP Leaders. While BJP Leaders kept saying Centre has done a lot to AP, TDP Leaders continued to complain nothing much has been sanctioned so far.
People have their own doubts over the sudden revolt of TDP. They began suspecting whether possibility of facing people's ire in next elections prompted the Ruling Party to target BJP. Or if there is any other reason?
BJP MLC Somu Veerraju came forward to offer analysis on the ongoing agitation launched by Telugu Desam. 'The actual reason wasn't the raw deal in Union Budget. Chandrababu Naidu got angry as delimitation of Assembly Constituencies hasn't been done by Centre so far. Would TDP resort to these measures had if Assembly seats were increased to 225? Better if People don't trust TDP which is more concerned about Political gains rather than public welfare,' he opined.
If the version of Somu Veerraju is true, Chandrababu Naidu wouldn't have been in such a situation had if he didn't lure Opposition MLAs. Encouraging defections had only damaged the reputation of the Ruling Party.
