The 17-Year-Old is the son of auto-rickshaw driver Govindaraju. Fellow Students didn't notice that Vishwas wasn't with them even after reaching Gundanjaneya Temple after swimming. A Student who was watching the captured photos noticed Vishwas drowning in one of them. Soon, The information had been passed to NCC Chief Girish but already an hour has passed by then. The body was recovered at around 3.30 PM.

Cops say, Students didn't take the signboard set up by Gram Panchayat asking people not to get into the water seriously. A case of unnatural death was registered based on the complaint of Student's Father.

On Monday, Family Members of the deceased staged a protest in front of the college accusing the Faculty of being negligent. They called off the protest only after the College Management gave an assurance on stern action would be taken against Professors Girish and Sharath if they were proven guilty.
