A few days back, Vellore district authorities in Tamil Nadu have built a seven feet wall closing the border with Andhra Pardesh at Chittor district as the positive cases in both the states are increasing rapidly.
This new development has created a sensation that was made by the Vellore Collector as part of closing all the inter state borders with the neighboring states just to make sure that the public in the state stays safe.
Now, this has created a problem for the Chittor people who visit the Christian Medical College(CMC) in Vellore for treatment as the hospital offers medical assistance at very affordable prices.
To see that the Chittor people don't face any problems in this regard, Chittor Collector Narayan Bharat Gupta spoke with Vellore Collector Shanmukha Sundaram and explained to him the problems faced by the public and requested him to remove the wall.
Shanmukha Sundaram responded positively and directed the concerned authorities to remove the wall and re open the border. Though the wall was removed, a check post erupted there and those who come to Vellore with medical reasons will only be allowed.
