Chintamaneni Prabhakar has allegedly assaulted a cop who was carrying out his duty at Denduluru, West Godavari.
On Sunday night, Prabhakar reached Singavaram junction and questioned the police personnel over the move to divert heavy vehicular traffic due to village fair. He didn't hesitate to abuse Assistant SI and Other Constables on duty. Following which, ASI lodged a complaint in Denduluru police station and a criminal case was booked against the Legislator.
Post the cabinet expansion, Chintamaneni submitted his resignation opposition elevation to his arch-rival. AP Speaker is yet to accept his resignation.
